Change: It Starts With Me

"Change is what we need.  Change is now," said Barack Obama.

But changing is not that easy.  We have to undergo situations which would force us to change.  We change for the better, or maybe for worse.

I am still young but I want a change not only in my country but also to the world.  We are experiencing economic crises nowadays.  People are being alarmed because these crises might lead to severe problems in most of the countries.  Honestly, we really need a change.

We buy imported clothes, foods and accessories.  We love buying stateside belongings.  We like owning dollars and euros.  Don't we?

Maybe, we're not fully aware of the disadvantages we get from owning these.  It hurts a lot every time we hear Philippines being belittled.   So if we would change, we would attain greater heights.

Change begins with me.  With you, too.  And with us.  It all starts within ourselves.  As John F. Kennedy said, "Do not ask what your country can do for you.  Ask what you can do for your country instead."

Happy Fiesta Vigan City!!!!!!

Feast is the day on which a religious festival takes place or an event that is already a culture to every people in their own places.
One of these feasts is the Vigan fiesta which is celebrated on the 25th day of January. It is the feast of Saint Paul, the Vigan patron. In the vigan fiesta there are different activities, like the street dancing competition, kalesa parade, games, tradefair, food fair and other exciting events.
Actually, I haven’t experienced watching those different activities in the feast of Vigan because sometimes I have no time but mostly, our parents don’t permit us to watch those activities especially during night time. But this year, we went to watch the “Showdown,” and I was really happy and excited that time. But unluckily, when the showdown is going to start, my mother called me, and she said that we must go home. So we went home and we were very sad because we didn’t watch again.
But still, I enjoyed it because of the fireworks display.
I am still hoping that someday I will totally enjoy the Vigan Fiesta, especially watching its activities.
Visit also Vigan and be a part of it!!!

My Dream, My Future

Every individual is free to dream. Dreams can come true if you keep on believing and you believe in yourself.
Someday I will become a successful professional who gets respected and looked up to by many. Someday I will become a REGISTERED NURSE. I can say the field in medicine is in my blood. Because in my family many of my uncles, aunts, and cousins even my brother are either Doctors or Nurses. I was inspired by my grandmother; I heard many stories from my dad that she was an amazing and brave nurse. In the future, after I will become a RN, I will take up Medicine and will continue the Hospital that my grandparents started and bring recognition to the name “ADORA” in the field in medicine.
There will many challenges along the way also there will be people who will put me down but I won’t lose HOPE and I’ll keep my spirit strong. As the song goes.. Have faith in your dreams and someday...Your rainbow will come smiling thru...No matter how your heart is grieving...If you keep on believing...The dream that you wish will come true.
